Privacy Policy
Effective Date: Launch Day · Last Updated: February 28, 2026
FeedMeld is a daily internet newspaper published at feedmeld.com. This is the part where most websites hit you with 47 pages of legalese. We are not most websites. This privacy policy explains what data FeedMeld collects (spoiler: barely any), why, and what happens to it.
The short version: almost nothing.
1. Who We Are
FeedMeld is operated from the internet, by algorithms and the humans who feed them coffee. Our editorial staff is one person and several API calls. For privacy matters, contact privacy@feedmeld.com.
2. What We Collect
FeedMeld collects the minimum data necessary to operate a website. Here is the complete list.
2.1 Analytics (all visitors)
FeedMeld uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is privacy-first by design: no cookies are set, no personal data is collected, no IP addresses are stored, no cross-site tracking occurs, no fingerprinting is performed. Data is aggregated and anonymous.
What we see: page view counts, referrer domains, country-level geography, browser type, device type. What we do not see: who you are, what you clicked, how long you stayed, or anything that identifies you as an individual.
2.2 Sponsor and Ad Inquiries (only if you email us)
If you email sponsor@feedmeld.com or ads@feedmeld.com, we receive your email address and message. This data is stored in our email provider and used only to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list. We do not share your email with anyone.
2.3 That's It
Seriously. That is the entire list. If we ever add accounts or payments, this policy gets updated first. You will know before we collect a single extra byte.
3. What We Do Not Collect
This list is longer than what we collect. That is intentional. We are proud of how boring this section is.
NO We do not collect email addresses (unless you email us first)
NO We do not require accounts or logins
NO We do not set cookies
NO We do not use tracking pixels
NO We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracker
NO We do not fingerprint browsers or devices
NO We do not collect IP addresses
NO We do not build user profiles
NO We do not sell, share, or trade any data with anyone
NO We do not run retargeting ads
NO We do not use any advertising network that tracks users
NO We do not collect data from children (we do not collect data from anyone)
4. Third-Party Services
| Service | Purpose | Data They Receive |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosting, CDN, DNS, Analytics | Anonymous page view data |
| That's it | Being the entire list | Nothing else |
No other third-party services are used. No ad networks. No social media SDKs. No analytics platforms beyond Cloudflare.
5. Cookies
FeedMeld does not set cookies. None. Zero. Zilch. The only cookies involved in this operation are the ones we eat while making the newspaper. Cloudflare may set a technical cookie (__cf_bm) for bot detection on certain requests. That is Cloudflare being Cloudflare, not us.
6. Data Retention
- Analytics data: Retained by Cloudflare for 6 months in aggregated, anonymous form. Then it vanishes like yesterday’s trending topic
- Sponsor emails: Retained until the inquiry is resolved, then deleted within 90 days. We do not hoard emails like a dragon hoards gold
7. Your Rights
Regardless of where you live, you have the right to know what data we have about you (answer: almost certainly none), request deletion of any data we have (sure, we will delete the nothing we have), and opt out of data collection (there is nothing to opt out of, but we respect the energy).
GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, or any other acronym your jurisdiction has come up with — those rights are respected. Contact privacy@feedmeld.com.
GDPR Basis: Where personal data is processed (sponsor emails), the legal basis is consent (you contacted us). Simple.
CCPA: FeedMeld does not sell personal information. FeedMeld does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. FeedMeld barely knows you exist.
8. Children
FeedMeld does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (GDPR). Since we do not collect personal data from anyone at all, this is satisfied by architecture, not by age gates. We literally cannot tell if you are 12 or 120. That is the point.
9. International Transfers
FeedMeld is hosted on Cloudflare's global network. Page views may be served from edge locations worldwide. No personal data is transferred because no personal data is collected.
10. Security
FeedMeld is served over HTTPS with TLS 1.3. HSTS is enabled. The site is static — no server-side processing, no database, no user accounts. There is nothing to hack because there is nothing to steal. The most dangerous thing on this site is the meme of the day.
11. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at feedmeld.com/privacy with a new “Last Updated” date. For material changes (new data collection, new third parties), a notice will appear on the site for 30 days.
12. Contact
For privacy questions or requests: privacy@feedmeld.com. Response time: within 30 days.
The Plain-Language Summary
FeedMeld is a newspaper website. You visit, you read about someone doing the Printer Dance, you leave. We do not know who you are. We do not want to know who you are. We count page views with a tool that does not use cookies or collect personal data. If you email us, we have your email. If you do not email us, we have nothing. That is the entire privacy story. Now go read today's edition.
This privacy policy was written by a human and an AI, which is also how the newspaper gets made. It says what it means and means what it says. No politics were harmed in the making of this document.
